Outreach and Community Awareness

• EADV developed a model workplace policy to address all aspect of how to prevent, intervene and manage workplace violence issues for the national Family Violence Prevention Fund. The policy was created by leading legal, safety and management experts as a policy that meets employer needs. Click here to view the policy.
  
  
• Through a network of domestic violence service providers and the SafeLink domestic violence hotline, EADV works to ensure easy access to free and confidential services for survivors of domestic violence across the Commonwealth.
  
  
• Upon request from the employer, EADV is available to offer workplace safety options that meet the needs of those affected by violence.
  
  
• In partnership with local advertising firms, EADV develops awareness and resource materials for use by businesses.
  
  
• EADV regularly participates in media events designed to raise public awareness regarding the impact of violence in the workplace.
